Designed for drying pharmaceutical materials, these ovens create Class 100 conditions and comply with all cGMPs. They feature a unique horizontal airflow pattern for rapid, even drying without crusting.
Features
- Maximum operating temperature up to 180°C for electrically heated units. (Will vary with steam pressure available for steam heated units.)
- Meets Class 100 conditions throughout chamber.
- Meets current good manufacturing practices (cGMP’s).
- #4 polished stainless steel exterior.
- #2B (Mill finish) stainless steel interior.
- All interior seams and corners welded tight and ground smooth. All interior corners rounded to 1/2" radius to allow easy cleaning and prevent particulate entrapment.
- Easily removable perforated supply and return panel sections.
- Small perforations in supply and return panels provide even airflow for granulation drying to insure rapid, even drying. Avoids “crusting” and powder/granulation pick up by high velocity air spots. At a glance

- Dual contact door seals seal continuously around door opening.
- HEPA fresh air and exhaust filters mounted in stainless steel frames.
- Magnehelic differential pressure gauges for HEPA filters to monitor filter condition.
- Forced fresh air and exhaust fan.
- TEFC motors.
- Teflon fan shaft seal.
- All penetrations (heater leads, T/C leads, etc.) are fully sealed to prevent leakage.
Options
- Steam, hot water or electrically heated units may be provided.
- Single pass airflow systems for those applications in which the granulation has high solvent content.
- Vapor concentration monitoring systems for processes with high flammable solvent content.
- Special design for driers operating in Class I Group D or other hazardous areas. Meets requirements set by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and OSHA.
- Exhaust fans with increased capacity to meet specific drying requirements.
- Product Carts – Stainless steel carts meet all cGMP’s. Standard or custom configurations to suit any need.
- Trays – Stainless steel trays sized and designed for your application.
- Cooldown Options – Increased fresh air and exhaust fan capacity to speed cooldown to required unloading temperature. Water cooling coils available to further accelerate cooldown.
- Recorders or data loggers for monitoring and recording process variables and alarm conditions.
- Choice of material type and finish for interior and exterior. Virtually any type and finish of stainless steel may be provided to meet special needs.
