Despatch Industries has successfully addressed the many technical challenges of thermal processing for capacitors, resistors and other electronic components used in cell phones, disc players, televisions and other devices.
From ceramic capacitor bakeout to preheating, drying and curing, Despatch provides the uniform temperatures and gradual ramp rates that are essential to these processes. Despatch ovens can include an inert atmosphere, forming gas (1% to 6% hydrogen), 600°C maximum operating temperature and dewpoint control. Despatch ovens can also achieve extremely low oxygen levels—less than 10 ppm of O2—plus uniform temperatures, typically specified at ±5°C.
For pyrolysis applications, Despatch utilizes an all-stainless-steel interior to resist corrosion. And, with air velocity being a key parameter, Despatch ovens can control air velocities, either up or down, at ±5% or better, with temperature uniformity at ±5°C or better at an operating temperature of 350°C.
